Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using qausarrahman.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site. It is operated by Qausar Rhaman, who can be reached at qrhaman@gmail.com.

2. Accounts

Some features — courses, project boards, quizzes and the dashboard — need an account. You agree to give accurate details, to keep your password to yourself, and to tell me promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login.

You may close your account at any time by emailing me. An account may be suspended or removed if it is used in breach of section 5.

3. Courses and content

Articles, courses, videos, photographs and downloadable material on this site belong to Qausar Rhaman and are protected by copyright. You may read, watch and use them for your own learning, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link.

You may not republish, resell, redistribute or use them to train a machine learning model without written permission. Course access is personal to you and must not be shared.

Where a course carries a certificate, it records that you completed the material here. It is not an accredited qualification and does not come from an educational institution.

4. Bookings

Booking a meeting reserves a slot in good faith; it is not a contract for paid services. Either of us may cancel or reschedule, and I will use the email address you supplied to tell you if I do. Repeatedly booking slots and not attending may lead to bookings being declined.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt the site;
• try to gain access to accounts, servers or data that are not yours;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site beyond normal reading, or bypass its rate limits;
• post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, or harassing, in comments, project boards or quiz entries;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to a person or organisation.

6. Content you submit

You keep ownership of anything you post — comments, notes, project boards, quiz content, uploaded files. By posting it you allow me to store and display it as needed to run the site.

You confirm you have the right to post it. Content that breaches these terms may be removed without notice.

7. The chat assistant

The assistant is powered by a third-party language model and can be wrong. Treat its answers as a starting point, not as professional advice, and do not send it anything confidential. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to those messages.

8. Availability

This is a personal site, offered as it is. I do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or preserved indefinitely, and features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.

9. Third-party services

The site links to and embeds services it does not control, including YouTube, Google and GitHub. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what you do there, and I am not responsible for their content.

10. Liability

Content here — on data analytics, industrial engineering and process improvement — is educational, not professional advice for your particular circumstances. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

11. Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any consumer protection you have where you live.
